Wilma Jean married Jean Lyman Mintun on July 08, 1950. From that union she had children that she was so very proud of, including their spouses, her grandchildren/spouse, and especially her precious great-grandchildren, Peyton and Garrison who she absolutely adored. Nothing made her happier than listening to Peggy and/or Amanda playing the piano for her - "How Great Thou Art" was her favorite. She was so pleased Mark was a Civil Engineer and had great success in his chosen profession. She always thought of Ron and Mary as her kids as well and loved them as her own. She considered herself to be blessed that she got to spend a great deal of time with Amanda during her growing up years. Amanda was with Grandma and Grandpa every day after school until she got her driver's license and then many times even after that, and they all thrived. She taught Amanda how to roller skate, how to cook, and many other things. Joe and Tom, although living several hours away from Clinton most of their childhood, had an extremely close relationship with their Grandparents, spending several days a year in Clinton visiting, learning to shoot their guns, fishing, ect. Peyton and Garrison called Wilma Jean simply, "Grammaw" and considered her to be a loving great-grandmother and wonderful playmate. Every time they came to Clinton the first question would be, "Can we go get Grammaw?"
