William F. Stephens, II passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at CenterPoint Hospital, Independence, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Memorial service to follow at 7 PM. Memorials can be made to the William Stephens Memorial Fund in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.

William "Bill" F. Stephens was born on September 9, 1965 to William (Nina Mae) Stephens in Osceola Missouri. Bill was happily married to Sonja (Weddle) Stephens for 27 years. Bill was a volunteer fireman with the Deepwater firefighters and the Clinton Missouri Fire Department. He also worked at the Smokehouse liquor store in Clinton, Missouri were a lot of memories were made. Bill enjoyed spending his free time working on and refurbishing old vehicles. Bill and Sonja took trips together. Las Vegas was one of Bill's favorite spots to vacation.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Nina Stephens and his brother Dick. Bill is survived by his wife Sonja Stephens of Clinton, Missouri; 2 children Kathy Stephens-Chapin of Sedalia, Missouri, Willie (Ali "gator") Stephens of Clinton, Missouri. One foster child Jamie Courtney of Warsaw, Missouri. Brother Sam (Leslie), 3 sisters Bonnie, Wilma and Flossie (Hank). 4 grandchildren Tyler, Chole, Sabryna, and Dominic. 13 Nieces and Nephews Richard (Sarah), Brian (Tammy) Jeffrey, Leanne, Michelle, Shanna, Micheal, Chucky, Yolanda, Little Nina, Hankey, Richard and Ronney.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
