William R. Hamblin, age 70, Deepwater, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. No visitation. Bill was born September 6, 1941 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Arvel Estes and Lottie Leetta (Riddle) Hamblin. He was a graduate of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg with a masters degree in Math. He was a computer programer and a software developer. He was a ordained minister from the Oklahoma Baptist University.

Among survivors are his wife Jill; son Matthew Hamblin of Branson, Missouri; one daughter, Sriprae McDonald of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, Robert Hamblin and wife, Evelyn of Clinton and one sister, Mildred Dunning and husband, Larry of Deepwater as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
