Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM before the service. William (Bill) Gary, Jr. was born February 3, 1950 in Belleview, Illinois, to William Gary, Sr. and Paula (Robinson) Gary.
Bill grew up in Rich Hill and later attended Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. Bill was a proud member and retiree of Local 663.
Bill married Patricia (Pat) Davidson July 8, 2007, and they enjoyed 16 years of marriage. Bill and Pat enjoyed spending time with their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
Bill loved motorcycles, cars and racing, fishing and boating (especially with brother Paul), traveling to his "Happy Place", Florida, to visit sisters Donna and Marsha, pestering his grandchildren (with a lot of love and a little bit of sass), watching old cowboy movies, doing the cruisin' and scratchin' for that big lottery win, and last but not least, we would all be in trouble if we didn't mention his love of the Denver Broncos.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Gary, his parents William Sr. and Paula Gary, his sister Cheryl Sites and nephew John Paul Gary.
Survivors include his five children; Darin (Debbie) Sturm, Maelene (Mark) Omar, Jason (Leanna) Gary, Dustin Gary, and Kristen Cox, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters Donna (Dave) Barnett, Marsha (Dale) Waldron, Pam (Jeff) Fellin, and brother Paul (Judy) Gary, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
