William "Bill" Alexander Ryberg, age 62 years, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri after a lengthy illness. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31 from 6:00-8:00pm at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Deepwater Volunteer Fire Department and can be left in care of the funeral home. Bill was born on January 21, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to William M. and Donna J. (Patterson) Ryberg. He graduated from Sherwood High School Class of 1972, Creighton, Missouri. Bill served in the United States Army. He worked various jobs through the years and served as Fire Chief for the Deepwater Volunteer Fire Dept. On May 7, 1982 he married Jean Neuenschwander in Harrison, Arkansas. While health allowed, Bill loved to go hunting and fishing. He found great joy in the eyes of his grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an infant sister, Kayla Ryberg.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jean Marie (Neuenschwander) Ryberg of the home, 3 sons; Joel Glaspy (Kim) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri,and Martin and Matt Ryberg, 1 daughter; Jill Glaspy (Logan Anderson) of Clinton, Missouri, 3 brothers; Clint Beck of California, Chris Ryberg (Heather) of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Patrick Ryberg (Shanda) of Harrisonville, Missouri, 2 sisters; Lori Stanley of Amsterdam, Missouri, and Rebecca Ryberg of Garden City, Missouri, along with 7 grandchildren; Alex, Tiffanie, and Nilklaus Schmedding, Alexis Bryson, Chloe, Klayton and Jaxton Glaspy, also many aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
