Willard E. Johnson, age 83 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Willard was born January 11, 1931 in Montrose, Missouri the son of Walter and Ruby (Odle) Johnson. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and also farmed. Willard was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea and Japan. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1894, Eagles Lodges of Clinton and Lincoln, and was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty who passed June 1, 1977, and one brother, Walter Johnson, Jr.

Survivors include his son, Danny Johnson (Karen) of Clinton, Missouri; one brother, Wayne Johnson (Norma) of Clinton, Missouri; one sister, Mary Hendrick (Clifford) of Clinton, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Louise Johnson of Clinton, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Lora Johnson and Cassie Foster (Josh); and 5 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Landon, and Cody Dills, and Lucas and Wesley Foster.
