Wilbur Lynn Brown, age 89 years, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home.  Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.  Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Wilbur was born May 2, 1928 in Golden, Missouri the son of William and Minnie (Bruton) Brown.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  On March 13, 1948 Wilbur married Lura A. Brown.  He was a resident of Bent Tree Harbor for 11 years.  Wilbur enjoyed his time on the lake boating and fishing.  He was a loving husband and father.

Wilbur was proceeded in death by his parents, wife Lura who passed in January of 2016, a sister Vonda Brown, and half-brother Aual Bruton.

Survivors include 3 children; Sheila Lewitzke of the home, and William and Scott Brown, both of Warsaw, Missouri, 4 grandchildren; Christopher J. Lewitzke, Bryan S. Lewitzke, Jill Gosa, and Morgan Michelle Brown, as well as 6 great grandchildren; Jori Lewitzke, Nolan Lewitzke, Taylor Lewitzke, Dominic Lewitzke, Haylen Brown, and Harper Brown.
