Wayne J. Russell, age 29 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Research Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 6, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5 also at the Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wayne Russell Memorial Fund % Elaine Waggoner and be left a the Hawthorn Bank or Vansant-Mills Funeral Home. Wayne was manager of Muttley's Gun and Pawn, Warrensburg, Missouri. He was a Clinton former volunteer fire fighter and was a former member of Clinton Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his father John Russell, Sr., brother Patrick Waggoner, grandparents Jean and Frank Monaco, grandfather John Iwaniec, and nephew Nicholas Russell.

Survivors include his wife, Crista; two daughters, Kinlea Russell, and Maddelynn Russell; one son, Kyler Russell, step daughter, Alyssa Caskey; his mother, Elaine Waggoner, Clinton; his sister, Laura Hall, Clinton; five brothers, John Russell, Clinton, Jimmy Russell, Clinton, Frank Russell, Kansas City, Robert Russell, Cameron, and Kyle Waggoner, Lee's Summit; grandmother Sophie Iwaniec, Chicago, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
