Wayne Dale Greene, age 55 years, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 2:30pm, with visitation 1 hour prior at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Interment will follow at Carpenter Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sassafrass Apartments and may be left in care of the funeral home. Wayne was born to Raymond and Peggy (Wilson) Greene on October 8, 1960, in Clinton, Missouri. Wayne enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, welding, going to outdoor concerts, classic rock music, and going out to eat.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Marvin and Norma Greene, and maternal grandparents Wayne and Georgia Wilson.

Among survivors are his parents, Raymond and Peggy Greene, along with brothers, Larry Greene and Diane Rector, and Ronnie Greene all of Chilhowee, Missouri, and a sister, Linda (Rick) Rose of Ash Grove, Missouri, many nieces, nephews, other family members, and the staff at Sassafrass Apartments, in Springfield, Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
