Wanda Williams, age 89, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery Sedalia, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to C.A.R.E (Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor) and can be left in care of the funeral home. Wanda was born April 17, 1923 in Fonda, Iowa the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Armstrong) Medaris. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Ellegard, second husband, George Williams, her parents, three brothers, and one sister, Evon Reed.

Among survivors is her daughter, Linda (Harold) Loyd of Clinton, Missouri; two step-daughters, Wanda Rathburn of Raymore, Missouri and Sue Williams of Diamond, Missouri, son, Lewis (Helen) Ellegard, Jr. of Kauai, Hawaii, step-son, Harold Williams of Texas, six grandchildren; Renee Anderson, Dawn Ellegard, Aaron Ellegard, Carrie Pippin, Brandon Millam, and Leslie Loyd, 14 great-grandchildren, and her bird, Zeke.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
