Wanda Chaney, age 85, of Deepwater, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015. Funeral service to be held on November 16, 2015, 11 A.M. at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton Missouri. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Deepwater, Missouri. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left in care of the funeral home. Wanda was born in Clinton Missouri to Earl and Ethel Dunning. She retired from the Lakeland School District in 1998. She was a member of the Deepwater Christian Church where she spent years playing the organ.

Wanda was cherished by her family. She was always concerned with her family's well-being and strived to help them in any way she possibly could. She was involved in her family's lives but not judgmental. She accepted any errors members may have made, and offered only unconditional love. She enjoyed any opportunity to get everyone together for a big meal. She will truly be missed.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Frank" Chaney. She is survived by three sons, Frank of Chillicothe and Jack and Kevin both of Clinton, MO, five grandchildren,three great-grandchildren, and her brother, Harvey Dunning.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funerals Home of Clinton, Missouri.
