Walter Van Hardin, age 77, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 10:30a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014, at the Vansant-Mills Chapel. Walter was born on March 22, 1937 to Willard and Virginia (Cole) Hardin in Spindale, North Carolina. He was married to his wife Amelia Alice (Revels) Hardin for 33 years and worked as a salesman.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Danny D. Dorl.

He is survived by his wife Amelia, two sons, Terry L. and James M. Dorl, two brothers, Robert and W.L. "Bo" Hardin, Jr., five grandchildren, Casey, Shea and Johanna Dorl, Heather Davis and Jason Williams as well as 10 Great Grandchildren.
