Vernie "Skeeter" Stutler, age 81 of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens, Warrensburg, Missouri. Vernie was born in Fulton, Illinois. He was a mason and a mechanic. He was a Methodist.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; one son, Dean Stutler and wife, Brenda of Clinton, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon Louise Singleton and husband, James Marcus of Warrensburg, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brandi, Amy, Travis, Tiffany and Adam; nine great grandchildren, Marshall, Austin, Dalton, Jacob, Kylee, Markus, Olivia, Johnny and Travis, Jr. and two sisters, Katherine Cox and Bernice White, both of Fulton, Missouri.
