VanBuren Kirk, Jr. age 29, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. There are no services scheduled at this time.

VanBuren was born on July 28, 1993 to VanBuren Kirk, Sr. and Katrina (Wilcox) Kirk.

As a child he was active in 4-H for many years, played soccer in Warsaw, he played the tuba in band, when he started the tuba it was bigger than him. After high school he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in South Korea for a few years and then in Colorado. Once home he married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Carl and had two children, Van and Adella Raye. With his free time he enjoyed video games, a good drank (drink) with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother Katrina Kirk and father VanBuren Kirk Sr., his wife Sarah Kirk, one son VanBuren Kirk III, daughter Adella Raye Kirk, stepson Ben Knight, his sister Nikita (Zachary) Scott, nephews L.J. and Lee, nieces Cali and Lorelei, his grandmother Sue (Joe) Esparza, and grandfather Randy Caserta.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
