Gaynel (Goodrich) and Charles (Gene) Pinkston welcomed their first child, a daughter, Toni Ann on August 29, 1950, who was born in Windsor Missouri.  Toni's health had been failing for several years due to COPD and she succumbed to this disease on January 30, 2022.

Toni was raised in the Windsor/Calhoun area and graduated from Windsor High School in 1968.  She had been married twice-the third and final marriage to her soulmate Kenny Vickers in 1979.  Kenny and Toni lived in several states for his job and eventually bought a home and settled in Calhoun in 1983.  The closest she had to children were her sister Debbie's boys Jeremy and Jon who she babysat for many years.  Mostly their children always had four legs and fur and numbered many throughout the years.  Toni was always an animal lover and served as the family "vet".  She loved horses and had many throughout her life, having to put her last one to sleep just a few years ago.  She told her doctor a few days before her death that this was when she noticed her health declining.  Along with her horses, Toni always had cats and sometimes a dog.  She leaves behind her cat Millie, who is missing her terribly.

Toni was in preceded in death by her husband Kenny (Aug 2021), brothers David and Jamie, mother Gaynel Mills, father Gene Pinkston, nephew Anthony Pinkston, grandparents Si and Bennie Goodrich, grandmother Ruth Pinkston and many other family members and friends.

She is survived by sisters Debbie (Floyd) Joy of Calhoun, Missouri and Judy Dodge of Paola, Kansas, along with nephews Eric Pinkston, Jeremy Joy, and Jonathan Joy, nieces Stephanie Williams, Michelle Macke, and Katie Dodge.  Toni also had three greats that she enjoyed watching grow-Luke and Harley Joy (Jeremy) and Sam Joy (Jon) along with many other friends and family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
