Thomas "Chris" Mitchell, age 57 years, of Clinton passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Windsor Healthcare & Rehab, Windsor, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the First Christian Church of Windsor. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Benton County Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home. Thomas was born September 7, 1957 in Windsor, Missouri the son of William and Mon (Davenport) Mitchell. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. Thomas enjoyed watching basketball, hunting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Dominic Smith.

Survivors include his son, Debrenane Mitchell of Warrensburg, Missouri; two daughters, Susyn Sanders (Chris) of Lincoln, Missouri and Naomi Smith (Elijah) of Sedalia, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, Brian, Taylor, Mason, and Riley Sanders all of Lincoln, Missouri and Callie, Gage, and Leland Smith all of Sedalia, Missouri. Also surviving are his best friends, Donnie Campbell and Kenny Vickers, and special friends Brenda Green, and her son, Jason Johnson, and Renee Carter and children.
