Thomas Alan Martin, age 17 years, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. A memorial gathering in Alan's memory will be held at the flagpole at the Clinton High School from 6:30-7:45 A.M. Thursday, August 21, 2014. A memorial service will be held the following Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Golden Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, Clinton, Missouri at 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Alan Martin memorial fund and can be left in care of the funeral home. Thomas Alan Martin was born October 14, 1996 in Raleigh, North Carolina the son of Linda (Anderson) Harrison. He lived in Clinton where he attended Clinton High School, graduated, and was getting ready for his first day of college. He worked at Hardees in Clinton. Thomas lived with his Uncle Scott and Aunt Amanda Sather of Clinton, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, video games, and skateboarding.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Elizabeth Harrison, his father, Steven Harrison and brothers, Taylor Martin and Jacob Harrison, and his sister, Heather Martin of Shamokin, Pennsylvaniana, his grandparents, TJ and Linda Sue Anderson of Clinton, Missouri, plus many cousins, as well as two aunts, Sheri Jenkins and Kristy Fisher of North Carolina.

Alan was the light of all our candles and his light will burn bright forever. Sweet boy you will be greatly missed. Alan's passing is a true loss of a great, ambitious, funny and loving young man.
