Thelma R. McCorkle, age 95 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Jefferson Gardens Assisted Living Center, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Clinton Christian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Clinton Christian Church or Shriners Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home. Thelma was born March 3, 1920 in Chula, Missouri the daughter of Noel and Goldie (Myers) Head. She was a member of the American Red Cross and the First Christian Church of Clinton.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her son, Michael McCorkle; and three siblings, Harold Lloyd Head, Reba Walters, and Lois Lannon.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Hattig (Bruce) of Billings, Montana; daughter-in-law, Sara McCorkle of St. Louis, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Heather Maness (Adam), Liz Mayes (Curt), and Rylie Reiter (Marcus); 5 great-grandchildren, Nico and Ivan Maness, Sawyer Mayes, and Ellie and Mollie Reiter, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
