Maxine was born Spetember 26, 1935 to Joseph Walter and Minnie-belle (Peak) Jolley.  On June 23, 1952 Maxine married Donald Ray Jones who survives of the home. They married young but recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. To this union were born three sons.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, brother John (Kathryn) Jolley, sisters Anna May (Elijah) Jones and Dorothy (Avery) Baumgarden.

She is survived by husband Donald Ray, sons Gerald (Mary ) Jones of Clinton, Kavin (Ronett) Jones of Lees's Summit, and Brian (Kim) Jones of Clinton, and three grandsons Tim, Dustin, and Trenton, and girlfriend Parker Williams. She was also survived by a brother Jim Jolley, McLouth, Kansas, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was very proud of her family.

Maxine enjoyed family gatherings, BBQ's and camping.  Probably her favorite thing to do, besides being with her family, was attend country music shows with Donald Ray.  He always wanted to sit up close so they could have a good view of the singers and that toe tapping music.  Maxine worked at Anderson Poultry House and later worked at Clearfield/Schreiber Cheese Plant for many years.  She retired from there in September 1997.  She was educated in the Clinton Public Schools.  When Maxine was young, she attended the Nazarene Church in the Martinville area of Clinton. Currently, she was a member of Northeast Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
