Steven Frey, of Brownington,  passed away at his home Friday, May 24, 2019.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 29, 11AM at Vansant-Mills Funeral Chapel, Clinton, MO.  Visitation will be at 10AM prior to service.  Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Maplewood Cemetery and may be left in care of funeral home.  Condolences and fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Steve was born in Kansas City, MO. but resided in Brownington the last 18 years.  He loved to hunt and fish and loved to work with wood making things for his friends and family.  He served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Frey; his mother Dorene Williams; his sister Debra Newfield; and his brother Edward Frey.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Haun; 6 children, Steven Frey, Shelly Randel, Dale Haun, Rodney Haun, Kim Lawson, and Kenneth Haun.  Steve also had 11 grandchildren, Christina, Jeff, Shelby, Brandon, Serenity, Missy, Kyle, Kenny, Kendra, Tyler, and David, and also Anakin and TJ, 2 great-grandchildren.  Also many friends and extended family.
