Stella F. Mosley, age 96 years, of Chilhowee, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Warrensburg Manor, Warrensburg, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Chilhowee Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Nursery Department or the Missouri Baptist Children's Home and may be left in care of the funeral home. Stella was born in Post Oak, Missouri the daughter of Wesley and Georgia (Hood) Ford. She was a Chilhowee resident until moving to Clinton in 1996. Stella was an active 20 year member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, and had been a member of the Chilhowee Baptist Church before moving to Clinton. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress. Stella worked for years as a babysitter. She loved the children she looked after.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Grover Sr., son, Grover Jr., two grandchildren, Steven and Sherry Rodgers, one great-grandson, Jeff Afrisio, two son-in-laws, Don McWhirt and Roy Rodgers, three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Sarah Frances McWhirt of Warrensburg, Missouri, Georgia Wilma Rodgers of Liberty, Missouri, and Anna Ruth Wells of Kansas City, Kansas, one brother, Cletus Ford of Paola, Kansas, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
