Shirley Ann Paden, 81 passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at her home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Inurnment will take place in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Shirley Ann (Cruse) Paden was born Nov. 26, 1943 to Roy Cruse and Ruth (Cruse) Lee in Arkansas. She resided in Arkansas until she was 5 years old. She then moved to Richmond California with her mother Ruth and stepfather James Lee. Shirley had 3 siblings Alton, Rolinda and Pat. Alton and Pat are both deceased. On July 26, 1963 she married the love of her life John Douglas Paden.  John lost his battle to cancer on October 19, 2006. John was also laid to rest here in the memorial wall where Shirley will be joining him.

Together they had one child Deborah S. (Paden) Stackhouse.

Shirley is survived by her sister Rolinda, daughter Deborah and her husband Bill, three grandchildren: Shirette Stockdall, Jonathon Stackhouse and his wife Taylor, Tasha Boshears and her husband Jake, five great grandchildren: Carson & Lili Stackhouse, Oliver Stockdall, Apollo & Selene Boshears, one daughter she adopted out of love Mary Aguirre and her husband Jesse, their three children Brianna, lil Mary and Rosario, along with Mary's grandchildren.

Shirley will be missed and fondly remembered as a kind and loving person with a strong faith in God, Jesus Christ.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
