Shirley Ann Brown, age 66 of Galena, Missouri passed away Friday, December 21, 2007 at Ozark Mountain Regional Healthcare, Crane, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in the Salem Cemetery, Norris, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the chapel.

Shirley was born near Chilhowee, Missouri. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Elsey, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Brown of the home; three sons, Charles Nelson Gill of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, David Lee Gill of Henderson, North Carolina and John Clinton Gill of Macon, North Carolina; two step sons, Berry Lynn Brown of Ghuana, Africa and Ernest Brown, Jr. of Shell City, Missouri; other step children, Debbie Withrow of Blue Eye, Missouri, Cheryl Motley of Deepwater, Missouri and Jim Houk, Jr. of Clinton; one brother, Carl E. Stoneking of Blairstown, Missouri; one ½ brother, Fred E. Stoneking of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Jane Milligan of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Judy Joy Merlino of San Marcos, Texas; one step sister, Mable Fay of Seeley Lake, Montana; her step-mother, Thelma Stoneking of Clinton as well as a number of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
