Sharon Lea (Christian) Van Artsdalen, age 54, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 21, 2012, 2:00 p.m., at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with interment in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Van Artsdalen Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Sharon was born in Springfield, Missouri the daughter of Douglas Jim and Mavis Pauline (Sargent) Christian. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid. She was a member of MENSA and Celebrate Recovery at First Baptist Church, Clinton.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Mavis Christian.

She is survived by her sons, Mich Christian, David Christian and Jacob Van Artsdalen all of Clinton; daughters, Rachel Christian of Warrensburg, Anna Christian of Clinton, Rebekah Christian of Sedalia; brothers, Haskell Kirk of Warrensburg, Ed Hess of Montrose, and Jim Christian of El Dorado Springs; sisters, Sandra Dunn of Clinton and Shelia Hobbs of Tuson, Arizona; as well as five grandchildren.
