Sharon was born in route to the Warrensburg Hospital on January 19, 1948. She was the third of seven children born to Homer and Nadine (Dady) Cooper.

Sharon graduated from Windsor High School in 1966. Soon after, she was united in marriage to Marvin C. Ebeling, in rural Windsor, at Harmony Baptist Church. Marvin and Sharon welcomed two daughters to this union, Cindy and Susan. Sharon was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor. Soon after, her first grandchild Garett, was born followed by McKenzie and Camryn. Her grandkids were the light of her life. She also enjoyed planting and watching her flowers grow, trips to Colorado to visit her sister and family, and catching up with friends. Sharon volunteered at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Sharon's mother suffered from Alzheimer's, which made it important to her to raise funds for Alzheimer's research. Sharon never met a stranger and she was the truest friend you could ever have.

She was also blessed with her grandchildren, Garett Matthes, McKenzie (Stephen) Mannino, and Camryn Kemper.
