Sharen Pate, age 81, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Aspire Senior Living Center in Warsaw, Missouri. Sharen's wishes were to be cremated. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Sharen Journey Pate, born in Port St. Lucie, Florida and passing peacefully in Warsaw, Missouri leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories, laughter, and love shared with family and friends.

Sharen was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Max Pate, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Melinda Boughey; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Pate; her siblings, Sandra Rolf, Jim Journey, and Karen Smith; her grandchildren, Grant Pate and his wife Stephanie, Morgan Pate, Kelsey Boughey, Ellysse Boughey, and Blake Boughey; along with three precious great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Sharen had a kind and welcoming spirit that made people feel at home in her presence. She enjoyed collecting antiques, spending quiet days fishing, and sharing stories and laughter with those she loved most. Whether gathered around family, visiting with friends, or simply enjoying life's little moments, Sharen found happiness in the connections she made with others.

Her love, warmth, and gentle heart touched many lives and will continue to live on through the family and friends who carry her memory forward. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
