Ruth Ann Simison, age 84, of Clinton, Missouri passed away at her home on February 4, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 10, 2014, in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Ruth Ann will lie in state at the Chapel from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday before the graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to PAWS or the Henry County Historical Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Ruth was the only child born to Victor B. Simison and Margaret (Maggie) Harvey on April 28, 1929. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1947. She moved to Kansas City and worked for several major firms, retiring from AMC Theaters on December 31, 1989 after 25 years of service. She was director of properties for AMC and inhouse paralegal. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Fi and the Henry County Historical Society as well as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, founder of PAWS in 1998, and a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church.

Ruth loved anything with fur, feathers or fins.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and step father Rolla Kinyon.

She is survived by one cousin, Joann Smith and her dog-child Scarlet.
