Ruth L. Goodenough, age 83 of Montrose, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in the Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to Ruth Goodenough Christmas Fund c/o Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Deepwater and the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Appleton City.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ray and her parents Russell and Lola Sanders.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Hood and husband Robert, Montrose, Missouri; brother, Billy Joe Sanders and sister, Wilma Jean Coleman,both of Clinton; three grandchildren, Robert Hood, Jr., Raymond Spencer Hood and Jana Hood; and nine great-grandchildren, Richard, Emily, Rose, Raymond Jr., Ricky, Kayla, Samantha, Deziree, and Damara.
