Ruth Ann Curry, age 71 years, passed away Tuesday, September, 27, 2016 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Ruth was born June 8, 1945 in Bentonville, Virginia the daughter of Maurice and Katherine (Anderson) Curry.  Her mother brought Ruth along with her siblings to Kansas in 1955 after their father was killed in a car wreck.  She was raised in Kansas and went to school in Wyandotte County.  Married in 1967 to Wayne Wells they had 3 children.  She worked as a nurse aide for 12 years in the Kansas City area.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Lockhard Curry and Katherine Betty Leah Anderson Curry, and 3 brothers.  She leaves behind 2 boys, Clayton (Sherry) Wells of Hopkinsville, KY, and Emery (Debbie) Wells of Kansas City, MO, a daughter, Maurica (Chris) Fitzpatrick of Clinton, MO, and 5 grandchildren; Alexis Kelley, Victoria Jenson, Emily Wells, Christopher & Shayera Fitzpatrick, plus 8 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 11 step great-grandchildren.  Ruth's wishes were to be cremated.  A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date in Virginal. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
