Russell Thomas Donahue, also known as "Russ" to family and friends, passed away on May 29, 2018 at the age of 47.

A native of California, Russell grew up in Modesto and attended Thomas Downey High School where he graduated in 1988. After graduating he moved to Sacramento, California working in the construction industry. A few years later he moved to Arizona to work with his great Uncle, Nick Kraintz, at S&K transmission, a family owned business. There he learned the trade of repairing and rebuilding Allison transmissions. Through life events Russell and his family moved to Liberty, Missouri where he worked for Central Power for 13 years being certified by Guild in both Allison transmission and Diesel engines.

During his time in Arizona Russell also enjoyed DJ'ing for events with his cousin Nick Kraintz, Jr.  Also in Arizona, Russell met his soon to be wife Rebecca (Becky) Smith.

Soon after meeting, Russell and Becky married and had two wonderful children together, Autumn and Jake Donahue.

He is survived by his daughter Autumn Jade Donahue age 16, Jake Thomas Donahue age 12, his ex-wife Becky, his father and stepmother Steve and Sheryl Donahue, his mother Debbie Brocchini and his beautiful and fantastic sister Barbara Christine "Madison" Gulli.

The people closest to Russell have continued to express what a caring and compassionate person he was who would go out of his way to help others. Russell was very jolly and always smiling and joking with others.
