Rufus "Rip" Jackson Bower, age 81 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Westwood Living Center. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Rufus Jackson Bower was born April 9, 1938 in Cypress, AR. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. From his children to his great-grandchildren, he taught them all how to fish, hunt and if you were lucky enough, snipe hunt too. He always had a song to sing and would always have a story to tell.

Rufus is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise (Joplin) Bower and grandson Rufus Dewayne Dulaban.

Rufus is survived by his brother, Rodell (Judy) Bower, children, Thomas (Nancy) Bower, Mark Bower, Angela Barnett, Rebecca "Becky" Dulaban, Deanna Miller, and Nora Donin, grandchildren, Thomas Bower, Jeremy Bower, Anita Trisco, Deanna Barnett, Alicia Barnett, Jessica (Michael) King, Samantha (Donald) Richter, Kody Miller, Kaylee Miller, Danny LeClaire Jr. and family, Michael LeClaire and family, and Amanda LeClaire and family, and great-grandchildren, Tristan, Mary, Linkin, David, Bryson, Alannah, Aurora, Ashlynn, Ian, Owen, Mason, Nikotah, Virgil, Austin, Audriana, Zaedyn, Elaina, Journi, and Broghan.
