Rose "Rosie" Elizabeth Julian, age 66, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with burial in Parks Chapel Cemetery, Clinton. She will lie-in-state Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Henry County Library and they may be left in care of the funeral home. Rosie was born in St. Clair County, Missouri the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Frances Elizabeth (Keltner) Peek. She was married to John William Julian. She worked in the Dietary Department at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, before retiring. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1894 Ladies Auxiliary, Clinton.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin F. and Frances E. Peek and an infant brother.

She is survived by her husband, John of the home; one son Dwaine Julian and wife Stephanie and one daughter, Mary Young and husband Dave all of Clinton as well as one step-daughter Sue Dill and husband Randy of Morehouse, Missouri; grandchildren Cole Young, Collin Young, Emily Jones, Kerri Young, Christopher Schultz, Madison Dill, Austin Dill, Michael Julian, Tiffany Julian, Brandon Julian and Misty Julian; one great-grandchild, Calyspo Rain as well as a special miniture greyhound, Gracie.
