Ronda Hetherington Dozier was born November 20,1960 to Leroy and Thelma (Loyd) Hetherington. She passed January10, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Anyone who knew our mom, knew she was full of life. She loved to bake (mostly chocolate around the holidays that made us all fat). She fiercely loved her five grandchildren, Jacob, Jameson, Brantley, Zoe, and Parker, and would fight anyone who would disagree with her about them. Mom loved her coffee with sugar, her tea sweet, country music, and smoking her cigarettes while indulging on which ever flavor of diet soda was her favorite at the time. She hated mud on her carpets and kept her house immaculate. You were always welcome, your glass was never empty and if you left her house hungry it was your own fault.
She will be greatly missed by many including her husband, Terry of the home. Her in-laws Bill and Eileen Dozier of Lowry City. Her children Jerry (Melissa) Carlile of Mira Loma, California, Becky (Brad) Volesky of Lowry City, and Clayton (Amber) Fireshaker of Columbia. Her sister-friend (as mom called her) Celeste (Pete) Filis of Sedalia. Her parents Leroy and Thelma Hetherington. Her siblings Dale (Teresa) Hetherington, David (Susie) Hetherington, and Margie (William) Hetherington. She also leaves behind a huge family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.
