Roger J. Ricketts, age 71 of Clinton, Missouri passed away August 23, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Clinton Christian Church, with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Floral Hills East Cemetery, Lee's Summit, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Samaritan Center and can be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Roger worked as a construction manager for Western Auto for 37 years. He was a member of the Clinton Christian Church and volunteered at the Samaritan Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Crystal Ricketts.

Among survivors includes his wife of 54 years, Karen of the home; his two sons, Mark Ricketts of Adrian, Missouri and Michael Ricketts of Clinton; his daughter, Rebecca Lakin of Pleasant Hill, Missouri;
two brothers, Steve Ricketts of Kansas City, Missouri and Raymond Ricketts of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his sister, Barbara Rose of Lee's Summit, Missouri as well as seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild with one on the way.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
