Rodney Baumgarden, age 50, Urich, Missouri passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Cass Regional Medical Center. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Funeral service will be on Friday, April 27 at 3pm with visitation one hour prior to service at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Interment will follow at Urich Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rodney Baumgarden Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Rodney Kent Baumgarden was born on December 28, 1967 in Bolivar, Missouri to Estelle and Mable (Foster) Baumgarden. Rodney played football in High School and was a mechanic all of his life. He always had a smile on his face and was a jokester. Rodney loved to cook. Family was everything to Rodney and he loved hanging out with his grandkids. He was very goal oriented and always had a project to get done. He loved his '59 Chevy, Mable, the most.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Roy Baumgarden and Ron Stocker, sister Harlene Butterworth, his grandson Loukis Baumgarden.

Rodney is survived by his sons Mikey (Sandra) Baumgarden and Wayne Gerling, daughter Chantell Gerling (Josh Holden), brother Daren Baumgarden, sisters Robin Burnham, Liz (Dale) Cullison, Sandra Johnson, grandchildren Aubrie, Lylah and Bryson, friends Chad Monard, Richard Barcheck, Al Vansel and Ronnie Kiefer and a host of family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.
