Robert O. Barrett Sr., 88, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Katy Manor, Pilot Grove, Missouri. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Graveside service will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:30am at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Missouri.

Robert was born on August 4, 1930 in Montour Falls, New York to James H. Barrett and Regina Weaver Barrett. He was married for 66 years to Florence Burton Barrett, now residing at Katy Manor, Pilot Grove, Missouri. Robert was the father of two sons, John Ellwood Barrett (Peggy) of Sedalia, Missouri and Robert Clark Barrett (Lee Ann) of Booneville, Missouri. He had two grandsons, Alexander Clark Barrett and Timothy Ryan Barrett. Robert graduated from Odessa Central School and served four years in the U.S. Air Force doing duty for one year in the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Windsor Coal Company and Peabody Coal Company Tebo Mine.

Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Isabelle Smalley, brothers, James, Albert, Andrew and Kenneth.

Robert is survived by his wife, Florence Barrett, sons, John Ellwood Barrett (Peggy) of Sedalia, Missouri and Robert Clark Barrett (Lee Ann) of Booneville, Missouri, grandsons, Alexander Barrett and Timothy Barrett and numerous nieces and nephews.

R.O. loved the Lord, worked hard and was a loving husband and father.
