Robert August Dreier, age 96, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at the Harry S. Truman Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday February 16, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri. A graveside inurnment with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton VFW Post 1894 and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Robert August Dreier was born on August 8, 1927 in St. Joe, Missouri to Frank and Mary Dreier.

Robert was a member of the Clinton VFW Post 1894. He was in the U.S. Navy serving in WW II. He loved to play cards go to casino, and go dancing. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and spending winters in Texas. He was a farmer all his life, had a farm in Faucett, Missouri, until moving to Clinton, Missouri were they resided for 16 years.

Survivors include his wife Judith of the home, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, one step great-great grandson and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, two sisters in law, 2 brothers in law and six good friends card playing group and a host of friends in the community.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, 3 step children, one grandson, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 brothers in law.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
