Robert Lee Collins, age 78, of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. Robert's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Robert was born February 17, 1944. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Chilhowee, Missouri. Robert worked construction, warehouse, and street maintenance. He retired in 1993 from the Street Department in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Robert "Bob" Collins was a hard worker. He was a third generation salvage junker. He loved spending time with his family whether going on a family camp trip or just barbequing in the backyard. He loved working with wood and painting. Bob was a funny guy who liked to joke around.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Collins and Kathryn Collins, a sister Doris Williamson and a daughter Robin Martinez.

He is survived by his wife Diana Collins of the home in Warrensburg, Missouri, his daughter, Renee McCoy and husband David of Sedalia, Missouri, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
