Robert L. Allen, Sr, age 53, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with graveside services at the Mount Union Cemetery, Brumley, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends at the Vansant-Mills Chapel on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Robert Allen Memorial Fund which may be left in care of the funeral home. Robert is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home, his mother Barbara Allen, two sons Robert Allen, Jr and Stacey and Gerald Heistand and wife Sara, three daughters Ginny Ingham and husband Johnny, Christy Fields, and Katie Allen, all of Clinton, two brothers, Jim Luttrell and Scott Luttrell of Brumley, Missouri, three sisters, Daisy Irwin of Iberia, Missouri, Jennie Hake of Eldon, Missouri, and Karen Lahey of Lebanon, Missouri, three grandchildren Courtney Elizabeth Allen, Cameron Martin, and Robert (A.J.) Allen, III . Other grandchildren include Alli and Cole Heistand and Ethan and Alek Fields.
