Rick M. Angel passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021 at his home in Deepwater surrounded by his wife Sherry Angel, son Corey (Lisa) Angel granddaughter Gentrie, and his father Marion Angel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton with visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021, followed with a graveside service at the Deepwater Cemetery in Deepwater, Missouri.

After the graveside service there will be a celebration of life in honor of Rick Angel at the Sky's The Limit business building at 5:00pm located near the Lakeland R-III School on Hwy 13. Memorial contributions can be made to the Deepwater Boat Ramp Fund or the Lakeland Boy Scout Troop and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Rick and Sherry were high school sweethearts and married July 12, 1986. They made their life together in Deepwater, Missouri where they raised their son Corey Angel.

Rick was a man of all trades, he was skillful in communication line burial, operating dump trucks, cement trucks and he also owned Rick and Son's Trenching and Backhoe. Most recently he was employed with Holiday Sand and Stone (Ash Grove Aggregates) as a scale attendant and loader.

Rick loved taking off on his Harley with his wife Sherry. He loved putting the boat in the water and fishing with his wife Sherry and Son Corey. Having breakfast with the deer hunters and making bets on the biggest buck. You could find him either on his porch, in the garage, or at the local bar having a cold one. He helped anyone he could. He was known for his ornery, joking good nature. He loved being around family and good friends.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Geraldean Angel, brother Richard Angel and father in-law Wayne Willits.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
