Richard Woods, age 75, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at St. Luke's Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. Richard's wishes were to be cremated. Richard was a farmer and carpenter and had a talent and love for woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Woods, Doris (Laird) and Donald Mellott.  Survivors are, of the home Patricia "Pat" Nilson, sons Curtis (Ronda) Woods and Craig Woods both of Red Oak, Iowa, and sister Donna (Tony) Hale of Waconia, Minnesota.  Grand children Colby (Jessica) Woods of Elkhorn Nebraska, Haley (Raymond Barlage) Woods of Lamoni, Iowa, Heath (Anna Carlson) Woods, of Essex, Iowa, Hunter (Kylee Johnson) Woods of Stanton, Iowa, Maia Woods Erickson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Braden Woods of Red Oak Iowa and two great grandchildren that never failed to bring a sparkle to Great Grandpa's eyes, Ruby and Gibson Woods of Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
