Richard Wayne "Rick" Settles, age 46 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday December 27, 2008 at First Assembly of God Church, Clinton with burial in Deepwater Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Rick was born in Kansas City, Missoouri. He was a tool crib attendant for Stahl Specialty in Kingsville, Missouri. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Clinton and the Clinton United Methodist Church Chancel Band.

He is survived by his daughter, Halle Settles of Clinton; his mother, Sadie Settles of Deepwater, Missouri; his father, Charles "Sam" Settles of Clinton, Missouri; one brother, Kevin Settles and wife, Mechelle and son, Ryan of Gladstone, Missouri and two sisters, Candi Kimzey and husband, Darren and children, Deven and Connor of Monett, Missouri and Tanya Cooper and husband, Shawn and children, Makenna and Gage of Clinton, Missouri.
