Richard Bryan Houk, age 42 of Columbia, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Boone County Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Norris Cemetery, Urich, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to Byran's childrens educational fund and may be left at the funeral home. Bryan was born in Clinton, Missouri.  He worked for central services at Boone County Hospital for fifteen years.  He was in Celebration Recovery at the Memorial Baptst Church, Columbia and attended the Christian Chapel in Columbia.

He is survived by his wife, Paula and two daughters, Selena Houk and Erin Houk, all of the home; his parents, Richard and Bonnie Houk of Deepwater, Missouri; one brother, Sean Houk and wife, Tara of Sedalia, Missouri and his paternal grandmother, Edith Houk of Warsaw, Missouri.
