Richard Harlow, age 50 of Clinton, passed away at his home Friday, May 18, 2018. Richard's wishes were to be cremated with burial at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri, at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richard Harlow Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Lisa Winkler's home in Clinton, Missouri on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5-7pm.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Edwin Harlow Jr, and Marcy Jean Shelby and grandparents.

Richard is survived by his sister, Lisa Winkler, Clinton, nephews, Steve Navarro and Samuel Winkler and numerous Aunts and Uncles and family members. He is also survived by his best friend, Michelle Williams, and her sons, Colby and Jayden Williams.

"Rick" as he was called, was born in Chicago, IL in 1967, but grew up in Humble, TX where he graduated from high school in 1986. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Navy and served three years before he was honorably discharged for medical reasons.

He lived in Bryan, TX for a few years but most of his life was spent in Clinton, MO. He loved to read James Patteson novels, watch Nascar, and other criminal investigations shows. He loved his coffee and talking with his neighbors in the morning. He also enjoyed fishing and loved his dog Annie.
