Richard E. Deaver, 87, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away on March 24, 2026. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the Clinton VFW at (510 W Allen St). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veterans' organization or a charity supporting outdoor family activities.

Born on October 9, 1938, Richard grew up in California and later lived in Oregon before spending his final nine years in Kingsville, Missouri.

He proudly served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After his service, he worked in the construction industry before founding and owning his own successful earthmoving and landscaping company, from which he retired.

Richard is survived by his wife, Wilma Deaver; children Richard Deaver, Annette Ratterree, Tammy George, and stepson David White; sister Margie Nevel; and more than two dozen grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings Buster Deaver, Joan Willis, and Jean Crume.

He enjoyed working on cars, racing motorcycles, boating, and camping with family. Richard will be remembered for his strong work ethic and adventurous spirit.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
