Rheabelle McDowell Johns, age 91 of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Luke's Plaza Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinton United Methodist Church, 601 South 4th Street, Clinton, MO 64735. with interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the Clinton United Methodist Church. Family suggest memorial contributions to the C.A.R.E. (Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor) or the Clinton United Methodist Church and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Rheabelle was predeceased by her parents, Harry Calvin and Rhea Isabelle McDowell and her three brothers, Harry Charles McDowell, Robert Eugene McDowell and Edwin Nelson McDowell.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harold E. Johns, Clinton, MO. and her three children and their spouses: Jill Adams-Goodman and Jon Goodman, Kansas City, Becky and Jim Raysik and Jim and Faith Johns of Clinton.

She is also survived by four grandchildren who also reside in Clinton. They are: Jill Wareham and her husband Clint, Jeremy Johns and his wife Erika, Jarrod Campbell and his wife Christian, Sarah Duncan and her husband Casey. Also, great grandchildren: Sierra and Sydney Wareham, Ethan Johns, Hannah Campbell, Kaydith Maddox, Isaac Duncan and one more Duncan on the way.
