Raymond "Bud" Fitzwater, age 81, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at his home in Independence, Missouri. Raymond's wishes were to be cremated. There are no services at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Raymond "Bud" Fitzwater was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 25, 1941 to Raymond Lee and Katherine (Wisecarver) Fitzwater. Bud was a veteran from the Army. Bud worked at PWSD #2 in Raytown, 25 years, was the owner of Laurel Lanes and Fitz's restaurant and was a former alderman for the City of Raytown.

Bud leaves his wife Lori, three children Ray Kenny and Sherrie, three stepchildren Elizabeth, Michael and Thomas, 14 Grandchildren and 15 great Grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
