Raymond Franklin Charles, age 83 years, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 1, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Raymond Charles Memorial Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home. Raymond was born on February 17, 1933 to Mary (Mullins) and Harry Charles in Sweet Springs, Missouri. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Raymond loved working on tractors and farming. He also enjoyed fishing and being with his family. Raymond was a simple honest, family man, he will be greatly missed.

Raymond was proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother, Forrest D. Charles. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; sons, Frankie Ray Charles (Pam) of Urich, Randy Charles (Chris), and Roger Charles (Kathy) of Clinton; daughter, Penny Charles of Clinton; grandchildren, Timothy Charles (Sabrina), Sherry Colvert, Robin Stevens, Michelle Propst (Jordan), Janelle Howell (Dan), and Jason Gregory (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Sherry Ann Albin, Samuel Ray Charles, Ian Gregory Charles, Max Darrel Propst, Justin Tye Gregory, and Harley Ann Howell; sisters, Wilma Jean (Johnny)McFail of Houstonia, and Mary Catherine (Glenn)Sammons of Warrensburg, Missouri.
