Virginia Raylene Winn, age 97, formerly of Clinton and Calhoun, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at James River Care and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Thursday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to F.A.I.T.H. and may be left at the funeral home. Raylene was born June 15, 1915 in Roy, New Mexico, the daughter of Fred Miller and Lola Mae(Gilbert) Griffin.

On March 29, 1933, she was married to Fred James French at Boise City, Oklahoma. Fred passed away August 29, 1976. On May 27, 1982 she marreid June Ray Winn, who passed away January 30, 1985.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Stella Griffin; three brothers; two sisters; and one step daughter.

She is surviveed by two sons, Roy French and wife, Dora of San Diego, California and James French and wife, Carolyn of Springfield, Missouri; step son, Rick Winn and wife, Nancy of Windsor, Missouri; two brothers, Roy Griffin of San Leandro, California and Bob Griffin and wife, Ouita of Breckenridge, Texas; one sister, Eloil Witt of Hooker, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great granddchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Also, Jim Keffer, who was like a son and his wife, Beverly and their family.
