Ray Wilson Sr., age 77, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at CenterPoint Hospital, Independence, MO. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10 AM at Maplewood Cemetery. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.vansatn-millsfuneralhome.com

Ray Edward Wilson Sr. was born April 27, 1943. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ray was a truck driver for Mid South Millie in Kansas City, Kansas. He liked to travel, ride motorcycles and four wheelers, camping and chopping wood. Ray was a member of the Deepwater Christian Church. He volunteered as a fire fighter for the Montrose Fire Department for many years.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Robert Wilson, step son, Richard Hamilton, and grand-daughter, Mistry Fugate.

Ray is survived by brother Wesley Wilson, step-brother Harold Wright, daughter Stephanie Higgs, son Ray (Sonya) Wilson, step-son Donald Hamilton, grandchildren, David Fugate, Tristan Thompson, Brandon Thomson, Hunter Thompson, and Chantell Gerling, and great-grandchildren, Aubrie Gerling, Lylah Gerling, and Bryson Gerling.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.
